How Can I Make a Line Break Successfully? #580

This entry was rather a mess from the beginning because I quoted sentences from ChatGPT, and the sentences included both Japanese and English. However, I didn't realize that it became much worse until I saw a correction and saw what was going on with the correction-making page. My intention to break line by putting "maru" or "。”　at the end of a Japanese sentence failed.

I'd like to know here how to cope with the LangCorrect system. I want to show my entry as easy as possible by correction makers.

For example, 私は花子です。. (Adding a dot "." after a maru "。" can solve this problem?)

How about creating a specific mark to break the line mechanically on LangCorrect? For example, "&".

This is expected behavior because NLTK parses the sentences looking for English equivalents for sentence ending markers. So, using a Japanese maru does nothing, while using an English maru does.

"猫です。犬です。I like to eat ice cream." would be considered as a single sentence, where the "English" sentence starts with 猫 and ends with cream.

I think it would be more intuitive to break the lines based on a new line character (hitting enter on the keyboard). This in combination with an option to select the sentence parser (new line or NLP) would be a great temporary solution. New line would handle mixed text (e.g. Japanese and English) while NLP would handle language specific.
