[Feature Request] `editable_select_multiple` column #5084

Feature Request

What's the feature you think Backpack should have?

Is it possible to make a multiple select for editable select in the list view? Probably it would looks like multiple select for Select2

Have you already implemented a prototype solution, for your own project?

Currently, no. But if this feature request is not accepted, probably we will do our own implementation.

Do you see this as a core feature or an add-on?

It's an add-on for the Editable Columns package.

Thank you so much!

Hello there! Thanks for opening your first issue on this repo!

Just a heads-up: Here at Backpack we use Github Issues only for tracking bugs. Talk about new features is also acceptable. This helps a lot in keeping our focus on improving Backpack. If you issue is not a bug/feature, please help us out by closing the issue yourself and posting in the appropriate medium (see below). If you're not sure where it fits, it's ok, a community member will probably reply to help you with that.

Hey @rizaldywirawan ,

We were expecting someone to request this to be honest 😀 We're surprised it took so much time 😅 Yes we should build something like this, I agree. Right now we're swamped launching Backpack v6, but afterwards we'll prioritize and do this.

If you're in a hurry, please do a quick/dirty solution for yourself. If you copy-paste it here, that will speed up or dev process too.

Thanks for raising the issue. Cheers!
