WHY

BEFORE - What was wrong? What was happening before this PR?

You couldn't really log into the production demo, because the email wasn't verified.

AFTER - What is happening after this PR?

• we make the default login verified.
• we only enable email verification on localhost.
• we seed the users with 50-50 chance of being verified or not.
