This plugin slows down Homebridge

Not sure if there is anything that can be done, but homebridge is giving me the messages below in the log.

Hi, I'm not running homebridge 1.3.0 yet here so the code is not tested against this version. I see homebridge now recommends moving so-called slow plugins to a child bridge. Maybe you want to do that in the meantime. https://github.com/homebridge/homebridge/wiki/Characteristic-Warnings

Same issue, plugin works reliably on Homebridge v1.2.5 (great work) but I get the same slowdown errors with Homebridge v1.3.4

Apple Home UI on Mac shows no response so the plugin isn't working at all on v1.3.4 for me.

This is not the only plugin with issues on v1.3 so I am staying on v1.2.5 for now but just FYI

Thanks. I’d suggest staying off 1.3 for now. That’s what I’m doing anyway. I do plan on bringing the code forward to 1.3 when previous versions are getting close to EOL.
