There is a bit of duped code in the JS but I don't want to mess anything up with my lack of knowledge, lol. Hoping you can resolve that later
I did also add :focus-within to the li elements, but I don't really know how to get it to focus the modal when opened in JS/jQuery so I'm hoping that you can add that in later also
