Bug Description

We started the server normally and apparently have lost multiple days worth of progress... Lost all AE2 structure/machines. I'm pretty infuriated.

2024-10-20_19 39 21 2024-10-20_19 39 28

We haven't done anything out of the ordinary nor added mods outside of the pack, nor locally nor for the server.

General info: -All 2 game versions were downloaded directly from Forge with an original copy of Minecraft: Java Edition. -Server modpack version was downloaded from Forge as well.

Had this happen to someone on the server I play on too, their AE2 chunk got deleted. Possibly an issue with chunk saving failing due to the amount of data in that chunk.

Additionally, Computer Craft has an issue on the 1.18.2 fabric version with chunk saving. If you had a Computer or Turtle in the chunk(s) that may have caused it too. There's also nothing we can do to get you your lost data back, if you don't have a backup.

Also, minor note. Forge is not CurseForge. They're named similarly but are entirely different things. Forge is a mod loader, CurseForge is a mod and modpack distribution site. This modpack is on Fabric and not Forge.

I just had this happen to me. Ill put some information down to see if people can find any correlations. Playing on a server, no CC stuff even crafted, and it didnt even happen in my most ae2-heavy chunk. The chunk was claimed but not forceloaded, and the most significant thing in it was a foundry controller mostly full of various metals (totally quite a few stacks of blocks) and about a quarter of a cobblestone to iron/zinc/gold/redstone/copper/coal/quartz/bonemeal contraption (specifically the soul sand and a bit of the deepslate bit). I had recently placed some tracks underground which this took some of it out with it, but not a very significant amount.
