Hello, i just tried this simple Menu. I enjoy using it, However, something doesn't seem right to me.
Clicking/Hovering the icon (apple icon) makes a red color on a square shape.
Also the menu does not keep a space from my taskbar.
From a floating taskbar.
From a regular taskbar.
Any chance removing that hover opaque color to a better way? example 1) only apple icon to have a color, no the whole size of square shape. 2) having translucent color, 3) not having colors at all, 4) or having a simple pale white color around apple icon?
Also creating more space from menu to taskbar like yours? or even more, i wonder why don't respect spaces on my taskbar?
My details
Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20240617
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0
Qt Version: 6.7.1
Graphics Platform: Wayland
WM Theme: Breeze
Color Scheme: Breeze (SUSE Café) [QT]
Menu uses systemwide accent color when hover/active. I can improve this and give a selection of style like You provided
Menu was designed to use with program menu panel and it's behaviour was not tested on over types. I'll see, maybe I can add some margin setting.
There is one horrible thing with kde menus. If I'll use general type menu, it will be inside panel, so I use platform menu, which shows (generally) as I see.
