I can´t install audio drivers on Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 64bit on LattePanda 32GB/2GB. When I try to install these drivers manually, I get "Driver is not intended for this platform".

Any solution?

We are working on a new driver pack. We will try to release that after all testing. Thanks for your support.

you need to use the 4G 64-bit drivers. They do work on the 2G model as well.

No, do not use 4G/64GB driver. It wont work, tried that and it makes the device unrecognizable. I used this one.

https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=h62jg

Driver details:

Origin: Dell Support Device: Realtek I2S Audio Codec Version: 10.0.10586.4480 Date Published: 03/08/2017 (8-Mar-2017) OS: Windows 10 x64 Enterprise (Probably also on Home and Pro x64)

Expert method (for users that want full functionality without software extra's):

Step 1. Run setup.exe Step 2. Choose Extract, to a new folder (example: C:\Temp) Step 3. Use Device Manager (Run->devmgmt.msc) to update or install device. Automatically search in target folder or manually selecting .inf file does the same Step 4. Delete unpacked files and folder

OR

Easy NOOB method:

Step 1. Download file Step 2. Run setup and follow instructions.

This method needs two restarts and also installs Realtek Audio Manager in control panel which does nothing and gives you extra folders in C:\ProgramFiles(x86)

BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE!!!

Some people like me or on other github threads have a annoying popping sound with their speakers. This is due to following problem: The complete system is designed like a mobile device. This is noticable in Windows because in fresh installs it always starts in tablet mode. Also noticable when volume goes up you'll get a warning hearing loss message. So Windows is designed these days to preserve power as much as possible!! And this is very important to understand, because of this Windows decides to let the system decide TO TURN OFF DEVICES TO SAVE POWER. So for example you play music and you stop, if you don't use your audio for just a few seconds the device turns off and your speakers pop. A few seconds later you press something and windows makes it sound right before that the device is turned on and your speakers will pop again and then play the sound. Another example, people have USB plugged in and then don't use it for a few seconds and then complain the device is being unplugged and comes back a few seconds or they have to unplug and plug the device again. Or other USB devices being kicked out while using other. All this has to do with power saving. On many threads here on GitHub the advise is bigger power supply. But first before you really need a power supply try this:

Step 1. Open Device Manager (Run->devmgmt.msc) Step 2. Select device that powers off. (Example: Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller and USB Root Hub (USB 3.0)) Step 3. Go to last tab named Power Management Step 4. Uncheck: Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power

And there it is, no more suddenly USB disappearing while watching a movie from USB 3.0 port and using our Bluetooth mouse. I did this for my most important devices like WIFI, LAN, USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and bluetooth.

And now I have an external ssd on USB 3.0, a bluetooth mouse, a bluetooth keyboard, an SD card inserted, 3.5mm speakers in use and Xbox 360 Wireless Controller Receiver on USB 2.0, HDMI connected and Wi-Fey on all at the same time on and working with the official standard 5v 2.5a adapter with the official micro USB cable from the official LP starter pack. Also I use the 2 pin system fan on the 5V GND

I hope this long boring ass story helped you, it also is off topic a little bit but make sure to uncheck in devmgmt to avoid popping sounds etc.

Enjoy from you LP. I have my first 2G\32GB since a few weeks and am completely in love with it. Installed Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 and made my LattePanda so fast and powerfull it is now a Kung-Fu Panda
