Bug Summary

I am VERY new to modding, but I have been sure to religiously follow tutorials.

I have been able to get the mod manager and get Mod Fixer and Improved UI in the system. (Under overrides, I hope that's where they're supposed to be.)

Then, when I try to import another mod into the game, It shows (at the bottom in green) "Successfully imported ___". It does not show up under Active or inactive mods. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

This fix worked for me:

Manually extracting the PAK files from the downloaded .zip into the Mod folder (C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods) enabled them to show up as inactive mods. You'll need a program like 7zip to extract the file, and you also might need to enable viewing hidden folders to access the Mods folder.

Are you importing zips with pak files inside? Mods like that WASD one have special instructions to extract them to the bin folder of the game, so that sort of stuff isn't supported. "Import Mod" basically means "Copy paks (even if they're in zip) to the mods folder"
