Using Mod Manager causes PC to freeze when attempting to launch the game. Started happening today (8 March '24). Attempted steps to remedy:
Reinstalled BG3
Deleted appdata..Larian folder
Ran 'Vanilla' BG3 with no mods (result: runs)
Ran with just BG3SE, no mods (result: runs)
Ran with NativeModLoader and a few texture mods (result: runs)
Reinstalled BG3MM from scratch, Mods folder empty, did not move anything to 'Active'
Result: does NOT run, exporting order to game makes the game not load, even with absolutely no mods in the list at all.
Further step: Tried deleting modsettings.lsx, game now runs. Only the modsettings.lsx generated by the game works, the one generated by BG3MM causes a system-wide freeze requiring a hard reboot.
Also tried running the .exe directly, running from Steam, running from 'run game' button in BG3MM - all cause the same crash, if the modsettings file is the BG3MM-generated one.

EDIT: Managed to track down the behaviour to a weird issue with BG3SE. For those having this same issue, use the Larian launcher for now.
