Finding a job in tech is your goal. And to achieve that, you must have many tools and skills. One of the most important tools is your CV (Curriculum Vitae).

A strong CV effectively communicates your qualifications, skills, and experiences leaving a positive impression on potential employers.

What is the purpose of this assignment?

• Ensure your CV is up-to-date with the best practices
• Use your transferable skills and past experiences to describe skills that a developer needs and you already have
• When writing, think about a friend. How would you describe them? We tend to be more positive about others than ourselves.

@LauraSantiag0 I like your CV, it is well structured and gives a good idea of who you are as a person. I like the links to your LinkedIn and github profiles. It is well written, and the language flows.

In terms of improvement, I have a couple of recommendations:

• It is a little long. Aim to keep it to one page. For example, there are some repetitions that you could remove. Listing your hobbies is nice, but I wouldn't give it more than 1-2 sentences. (minor improvement)
• It is unclear what kind of job you are looking for. Is it jobs in the tech sector as developer or project manager, or are you looking for a job working with children/the elderly? If you are applying for a tech job, you should emphasise your suitability by listing your education and experience in tech in the Summary at the top. For instance, mention that you are studying at CYF, and highlight which technologies you have learned and are proficient at. (major improvement)
• In the Education part, you could add a sentence explaining what CYF is, what the course is called, and go into greater detail about the tech stacks you have learned in projects. (major improvement)
• For me, the list of skills is a little bit too general - e.g. what specific computer skills do you have? (minor improvement)
