The addition of an Omega beam profile would be nice. (In fact it is just a double z beam profile in mirror together)

YES ! (it is just a welded and mirrored Z-beam - keep the middle vertex though, it will come in handy when modeling)

Other general thing.
Do you agree a default integer of the radius should be around a resolution of 6 of 7 (not 10) ?
It will keep the generated faces down to a practical minimum.
