I downloaded the installer from 0.6.0 and it the same as 0.5.7 and only allows me to install up to 0.5.7 and not 0.6.0. It's a shame there isnt a read me that details exactly what you are meant to do to update a version with out the installer... I even reinstalled all the requirements.
