I cannot sync my existing Laverna Dropbox with new Laverna installation #473

I cannot synchronize my existing Laverna notes with my new Laverna installation. It does not retrieve the existing notes from Dropbox.

I can see that encrypted notes in my Dropbox but I cannot get it in my newest Laverna.

How can I decry-pt my notes?

Did you import your settings from a settings file? You need a settings file in order to set the encryption salt. In my opinion, requiring a settings file greatly decreases the usability. A feature to automatically store and use a settings file in dropbox would be great..

I have the same problem. Though my notes were not encrypted. I've imported the settings file, which has set the Dropbox API, but when I sync I cannot get the notes. I'm using Chrome.

Works in Firefox
Works in Chrome incognito

May be related to some leftover from the previous version?

Any way to debug this?
