What are the steps involved in using laverna on multiple computers? #697

Do I need to take backup of settings file to everywhere I want to use? Or Do I just need the password and the remote storage settings?

At the moment I believe that the settings are not synchronized. You will have to set up the settings on each device. However the actual notes can be synchronized through remote storage.

Sorry to revive this old report, but how are the notes synchronized through remote storage? Is it possible to store the notes in a directory and have Laverna use it, so I can have the same notes on different operating systems running on the same computer for instance?

Have the same doubt, 2 years after. If I host it on my server, how can I access the same notes from 2 different computers? There is no login, but only the encryption key, asked every time I access laverna from different computers or even different browser sessions.
