Expected behavior

The taskbar menu key should be able to be clicked to enter recent tasks at any time, and clicked to return to an application at any time on the recent tasks page.

This is a critical bug. Makes it a pretty unusable launcher as for some reason trebuchet on my phone does weird things when its also not home so switching to lineage/trebuchet quickswitch is not a workable workaround. I notice it seems to only happen when taskbar mode is on so maybe the bug is in that code somewhere.
For anyone else affected usually pulling down notifications, tapping home, then go back to last app and its fixed for a while.

Turn off all animations in the developer options. Then click the square button 2~3 times in 0.5 seconds or faster, Such behavior should be easy to reproduce the problem.🤔
