GUI doesnt adapt to zooming with Ctrl + #425

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I am in a search result list, but I think it would happen anywhere
2. push Ctrl + to enlarge font size
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The box in which the list of results is shown doesnt scale up, ie the larger 
the zoom, the fewer the results shown, while I can see lots of white space 
underneath the box. See attach. Very user unfriendly. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

This is not a bug! It is normal that you have less text when the font increases 
as the space remains the same, or not?

well, the point is not that less text is shown in the screen, but rather that 
it all goes out of place, ie. it does not adjust with the change of size. see 
for example the big white area to the left of the screen in attach 2.

I also saw the white spaces with Ctrl+. This issue needs to be discussed.
