graph visualization: poor assistance to user for plugin installation #464

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open WB in a browser with no plugin installed (for me, Mozilla)
2. select a concept and click "graph visualization"
3. a new tab opens saying that the "requested plugin" is not available: click
here to get the list of plugins. (see screenshot 1)
4. Mozilla plugin manager appears, with possibly many plugins to chose among
(see screenshot 2)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I get no indication of what plugin I should install, which may be a problem (cf
screenshot 2). The dialog screen should mention the name of the requested
plugin so that in case of doubt the user may chose more easily the right one to
install.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
