Hi,

The colorful CT image is also 300 slice, each of which is RGB colorful image. Could VTK be used to re-constructure 3D using those colorful CT images?

Thanks and best Regards,

Hi, Well I probably can't help you as this was a simple school lab. With that said, I imagine if you have the 300 slices, you could render them parallel to each other and leave a small empty space between each slice to roughly approximate the original 3D object.

If you need to do more than a rough approximation, I'd guess your 300 slices are not enough. You'd need to get more data or maybe extrapolate the missing data. I'm speaking generally as I don't know the details and I never worked with CT scans.

Good luck and best regards.
