I really am wondering the same thing... :-/ I noticed the code is quite unstable, and seems abandoned.

I found this in another issue, you might find it helpful. I also used this in a project of mine.

Same here, so I forked this project https://github.com/Andreasbaaserud/jsqrcode Feel free to contribute. I added the webqr.js which is used in https://webqr.com/

I will update the README on how to integrate this in your web app.
