This is wonderful! I started a project a few years ago (maybe not similar) trying to get the classlib into various APL formats because the only one I could find was dyalog. I'm wondering if this could help in any way, it's here https://github.com/Angeldude/classlib

A lot of thanks! the atf file I found was corrupted that I had to convert the file content by hand. I cannot find anywhere to access the original companion book that has the complete code listing on it. Google book has it but can only show a fragment of the book due to copyright issue, although through searching tricks I made some progress figuring out a partial conversion rule. I still have some mysterious characters that I cannot decipher hinders me to make further progress, but it seems the dyalog workspace in your link has the compherensive functions that it can save me from lots of guessing.

Btw, someday I ran into the Michigan Timer Sharing System archive and found an APL implementation that has a version of CLASSLIB with it, but that version is a cut down because mostly the quad system variables were not implemented, and I didn't set up the emulation environment in my APL working environment to look into it.
