Rise of a Soldier

Description: “In the ranks of the army, there seems to be a star among them. Going by the name of Changamire, he is alleged to hail from either the Mutapa royal family, or the royal family of Khami. Regardless of origin, he has proved himself as a soldier and even as a leader. We should elevate this rising star through the ranks to give ourselves a tactical advantage on the battlefield.

Success of Changamire

Having Changamire on the throne will give us a loyal commander and governor in our realm. However, not promoting him might not go over very well, and could lead to a revolt, since he is a member of the royal family.

Rising Power of Changamire

After the death of Matope, his son Mukombero took the throne. Unfortunately, his son has proven to be unable to live to his father’s image. Being a coward in battle, he entrusted Changamire as Chief Justice and commander of the entire army, including being sent to Quiteve to install a new ruler of the Mwenemutapa. It has become evident at this point however, that he has begun to do these tasks to improve his power in the kingdom, souring relations between the king and him. Many are calling for his removal before he grows too powerful.

Conditions Mutapa’s Ruler is no longer [1444 Ruler] Changamire is ruler of Lozvi The Year is 1490

Option 1: Remove him before he gets too powerful: [Mutapa’s Ruler] will try to remove him from power.
