Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Considering the sustainability goals of the UN is certainly useful for the future and possibly even legally required in some cases.

Describe the solution you'd like Maybe a Sustainable Canvas could be a quick & easy solution to do some basic documentation. Could be implemented in the blueprints.

Additional context https://sdgs.un.org/goals

Do you know what cases its required in? This is new to me here in the states (doesn't mean it isn't relevant; just that I'm unaware).

I'm trying to imagine what would go on it... like here, we've talked about moving to carbon neutral hosting. Would this be something to map out how the business uses sustainability? Or validate the value?

Lastly, would this make a better board or a better docs template?

How should I put it... in the EU it's a very relevant issue: https://finance.ec.europa.eu/sustainable-finance/tools-and-standards/eu-taxonomy-sustainable-activities_en The whole thing is a very complex topic and still has a lot of development ahead of it. There are already numerous companies in the EU that are required to report on sustainability. I know from practice that the biggest difficulty is actually gathering the information. And as soon as you have your information together, it is already out of date again. In this respect, it is important to create awareness, to consider or evaluate the sustainability of every change in the company and to document this information as a first step. So regardless of whether we look at the 17 goals of the UN or the (first) 6 goals of the EU taxonomy, everything we set now may no longer be accurate in 1-2 years. A first step could therefore be a canvas with the 17 fields of the UN. That way you could keep track of everything. It can of course also be a structured document, I just thought that the "framework" for Canvas is there anyway and it would be easy to implement. I think that will no longer be enough in 1-2 years and the structure will then have to be configurable, but who knows what will happen in 1-2 years.

Thanks for explaining this! Clearly, we're behind on these things over here.

Do these details need to be submitted in an application/document or certain form as proof of work?

Um, I have no idea what it's going to look like in a year or two. For now I would say it is sufficient if you could first document the effects of the project on the sustainability goals. And the effects can change in the course of the project. That's why I thought that a board like that for risk analysis would be helpful as an MVP. You can flexibly enter new findings over and over again throughout the project.

But also important: at the moment this would be a feature somewhere between nice-to-have and USP. So more like: cool that they thought of something like that. Because the demand still varies greatly depending on the country and industry. As a compulsory program, I would probably only see it in 2-3 years.
