Leantime For Researchers! [FEATURE] #1860

I'm working as a researcher on many new tools that may inlcude hardware or software, my job is to generate feasibility reports and make the higher authority understand why and how some projects we work on are completed quickly with less effort. Yet, some aren't because of any unforeseen reason.

I was setting up this tool and it was easily deployed using docker.

I have all the features I need in this tool except 2.

1) I want to change "Report As" to a state that is not provided yet, "incomplete" ( talking about kanban columns) is what I'm looking for. This feature will help us register task that we worked on and as a result, we knew that due to any reason, the task was impossible to complete until further requirements which were added in the reports are attached to the "Files" tab of the project.

2) I want to set an unlimited size of files to be uploaded which is 2 MB for now.

As I mentioned LEANTIME was deployed using docker. If it possible on my end to configure it please provide guide for docker-compose only. ( THE PROJECT IS DEPLOYED ON INTRANET & DOESN'T HAVE INTERNET CONNECTION)

Thanks for the background here.

For the file size changes, there are past threads that discuss how to update this in the codebase. I'm on product and thus not an engineer but I'll see if I can find a resource for it.

Would something like "Deferred" also work? I'm thinking of terms that may cross apply to other things as well. Ex: There were times that we deferred task items to another time or not at all due to the items found in discovery.

Hi, "Deferred" could be an option only if it changes the graph on reporting module as the same name maybe? we are using leantime its working good, but due to versatile nature of daily tasking we are currently unable to generate reports on individual level, currently we are generating reports as 10 people working together in a team. which limits the scope of individual level progress.

I hope leantime developer take a look at this and add this option to it maybe keep it optional ?

Just wanting to follow up on this.

We'll likely look at this for our advanced reporting plugin. We haven't had much ask for more reports at this time so I'm not sure how long before it becomes available.

Could you share the size of your team?
