That would be important for us. Currently, every project management systems implement this, including the source code management software like Github and Gitlab.
Currently I write every changes in the tickets of the projects I manage as comments. :)
Maybe because this I suggest this feature can be implemented using comments. If a user change anything in the task (like title, description, sprint, milestone, assigned user, start/stop time tracking, etc), when the user save this change a new comment would be created describing the change done. This way this feature can be implemented fast, and the timeline of discussions and changes in the task (and possible other objects/artifacts in Leantime) would be preserved.
Think about this suggestion and thank you for this great software. :)
@filipesaraiva thanks for the suggestion! We agree -- that's definitely a feature we want to have.
We haven't talked about this in-line comment approach but I'll chat with @marcelfolaron on it.
We're currently working on recurring tasks as our next in line but will look at some of the feasibility here.
Appreciate the suggestion.
Now I see any change of task in my email. I think Leantime needs to save all history of the task and show the history as same as Jira.
