2017: Apply to Knight Cities for a piece of their $5 million grant #3

To apply (2016 info): "For the initial application, we want to know what you’re proposing to do, why it makes sense in your city, now and a little about the team who will execute the project."

We would have to do something in Long Beach though, but that's not too far. lol.

I have an address out there if necessary haha. I know they had a big art thing happen recently called Pow Wow Long Beach too so maybe tying that in could be beneficial somehow? Maybe build an interactive map of all the new art pieces and existing museums for the city? I know they also just opened up Art X in downtown which had a fairly big opening last weekend as well as their own Artwalk. So maybe a massive interactive art map of current/future developments with a community contribution aspect?

I just wrote to the program director on twitter as the link on their Long Beach site seems to have a wrong link where it says to 'get involved' haha

Let's keep this on the radar for next year :) Too short notice now, and too early in the life of our organization to really jump on something like this right now anyhow.
