LedgerWallet.LedgerWalletException : The dongle must be reinserted #10

Hi Nicolas

I am having LedgerWallet.LedgerWalletException : The dongle must be reinserted exception when i run the NanoSTests.CanSignTransactionStandardMode test method. I haven't modified test code and i am also using nano s ledger with latest firmware update.

i am also having LedgerWallet.LedgerWalletException : INS not supported on if i switch segwit parameter to false on first method call.

I simply connect my device and enter to Bitcoin wallet and run the test. It raise that exception without asking transaction confirmation.

Do you have an idea what can cause this issue ? You are not having exactly same issue on latest master commit, right ?

@YakupIpek have you also not only the latest hardware, but also the latest app?

Can you:

  1. Plug the ledger, open the BTC app
  2. Go on this link.
Email: ewpfoif@fewfw.com
Password: blahblah

And tell me if the result show like this, or if your ledger get detected:

Also another thing that might give issues: If you have a ledger program open (like the BTC Wallet or Ledger Manager app)

It might conflict with the test..

So another person reported me that the ledger do not work anymore on their app. I am thinking Ledger maybe broke something recently.

Anyway I will test myself new app version later today.

I closed ledger client app but still i was having same exception. I restarted my pc and now it works.
