XRP send function shows ERROR but transaction was send #1489

Ledger Live Version and Operating System

Expected behavior

It should send the XRP transaction with a green success message

Actual behavior

It have sent the transaction but it showed an error like it didn't send it with a retry button below

Steps to reproduce the behavior

Go to send XRP and try to send some.. Confirm transaction on Ledger and the error should pop, asking you to retry. Amount was 2000 XRP. Account was named 'XRP' but I don't think it had something to do with this however, I am mentioning it here, because in that current version currency was renamed from 'Ripple' to 'XRP'

what is the error message? do you have a screenshot?

Hey I wasn't able to make a screenshot, however I tried again and this time it worked out. I haven't closed the the app from the previous time I have sent XRP. So I think this was not related so much to the Ledger app but more like on some API used in the process.

one other question, do you know if you waited a lot during the step 3 ?

XRP have a timeout mechanism that if you don't validate on your device quickly enough, after a given amount of time, it would just fail. I think we currently have set it at 40 seconds but we can increase it if needed.

without further detail on the error, it will not be easy to understand the problem. and you are right it might be API related too ;)

No delay at all, actually when it works fine takes more time to show the success message.. What it did was just show and error message after I pressed confirm transaction on Ledger.

Yeah for now let's just close this issue, if it happens again I will get more info and screenshot
