Thanks for the issue.

seems like this could be made possible by https://github.com/electron/electron/blob/master/docs/api/session.md#sessetproxyconfig-callback it would probably also requires a new settings on the app that is saved.

This is not a high priority for us because we have many other priorities but we would happily accept PR for this.

We need option o use TOR in order to stop Ledger HQ keeping tabs on IPs and UTXOs being checked. How hard is to implement socks5 support? You dont even have to bring your own TOR, we will run one ourselves.
