Nano X not recognized by Ledger Live anymore #4248

I've submitted a ticket to Ledger (1034425) but figured I'd post here to see if anyone else has had this happen recently.

Not sure what happened but either Windows 10 or ledger Live seemed to have stopped detecting my Ledger Nano X recently. I used it a few weeks ago without any issue but today when I connected it to the USB cable while Ledger Live (V2.33.1) was open and it asked me to unlock my Ledger, it never detected it like it usually does. The firmware on the device is the newest one 1.3.0

I thought maybe it was because I upgraded to the new Ledger Live version so then I downgraded back to V2.32.2 but I have the same problem.

If I look in the device manager, I see a yellow exclamation point next to Nano X which I know means there is a driver issue. I tried uninstalling the driver by right-clicking and then reconnecting the device but it’s still there.

I am using the OEM Ledger USB-C cable but I did try another brand (Anker) to see if the cable was the problem, but it did not resolve it. I’m not using a hub.

The Ledger device seems to be working fine but something is off with the connection it seems like. Please look at the attached log and screenshots and let me know what I can do to resolve this. The OS is Win 10 Pro (Version 20H1) and my laptop is a Dell Precision 5550.

I was able to finally get it to recognize my Nano X by removing the Ledger Live app and all the folders related to Ledger Live in %appdata% local and roaming. Once I reinstalled it started working but it’s giving me a lot of trouble restoring my accounts.
