Country code defaults to one digit #6

First post on GitHub so please bear with me,

I installed the package, looks like it can do exactly what I want but, the country code defaults to one digit every time.

For example, I'd like to add a Congolese (DRC) phone number. The country code is +243. The component won't allow me to add +243.

The input looks like this => +2 (43
