Rebuilt all the user interface components to address several issues:
Readability & maintainability
Performance issues (resources not cleaned up after shut down)
Executing UI updates on EDT
Several minor bugs
This PR does change a few styles and minor behaviour of the UI, these changes are to address consistency and bugs rather than to introduce new functionality/behaviour.
