Input function glitches when attempting to insert non-ASCII text

There should be a warning against users typing non-ASCII text at the very least.

Hi we are unable to reproduce this finding.

Reason for disagreement: Please try to input Chinese characters as inputs into your program. From what I can see, most of the members of this team are ethnically Chinese, so there should not be issues with trying to reproduce the bug.
