The 6805 CPUs on hand were all chip pulls and stored in questionable environment/setting, many with bent pins.

Some sort of test circuit is needed to validate that the CPUs are OK. An Arduino shield or Raspberry Pi hat, perhaps?

6805 pins:

8 (A0-A7/D0-D7) digital I/O for multiplexed address/data bus
5 (A8-A12) digital outputs for address bus
AS (address strobe) digital output
DS (data strobe) digital output
R/~W read/write digital output
~RESET digital input
~IRQ digital input
TIMER digital input
PA0-PA7 port A digital I/O
PB0-PB7 port B digital I/O

Total:

24 bidirectional digital I/O
8 digital outputs
3 digital inputs

Arduino Due board has 56 digital I/O and is only ~$50 on the arduino store compared to $150 for the CPU tester
