Steps To Reproduce / any other info: I just flagged Dancer unlock quest on 36 blm, changed to red mage for sneak/invis. everytime i go through maw and start cutscene, there is no Cait Sith visible at then I get booted. FFXIbootmod stops working. I realize I have a further version than current but i just joined and got the newest by default and don't know how to find older version

if you mean actual old "bootmod" you should use the more modern xiloader, either the one atom0s packs with ashita or the build darkstar offers. everything else is ancient and broken in many ways

but more likey (guessing you just called it that) this is just a version issue.

that's "no" your version is 30171205_0

The server sends you a warning message about that version mismatch for exactly this reason - so you don't report bugs that are merely versioning problems. These can include Cut Scene Events crashing when doing missions and quests, NPC or Mob that have the wrong name, and dialog strings that make no sense such as a Galkan shop keeper displaying text about being a little Elvaan girl.

I had explained that to another ingame that I couldn't post it viably and was encourage to anyway since I getting the right version wasn't a certainty and it gave a heads up to possible issues in the future. I do appreciate the input about the alternative options and will try them out
