Targeting v2++ targeting detection: 'I am being targeted' is a thing? how can an actor know if they are targeted? should we visualize this in the UI?
meta execute should expand to include the names (? does that spoil it - can it be conditional if the actor is 'hidden' or otherwise 'unknown' ?) of the targets for this action.
Targeting v2+ should also include the legality of targets: aka I should only be able to select the correct type of actor (requires the new actor templates/refactor first) Targeting v2+ should also integrate with the hitbox v2+ for further automations with aiming and damage reductions/hitbox
can we achieve desired behavior without 3rd party modules?
V1 is part of Early Access Release for Beta Testing / Homebrew only
As part of V1.0 we will ensure the required Data Model schema for targeting to hook on exists and design the API for utilizing these
New Modules: Smart Target + (one more I forget the name) This should allow for easy targeting (left-click your target, alt-click for Self)
Currently confirmed we can enumerate the targets properly, so it should be straight forward how to apply various effects.
