1 year ago This has been addressed in v1.4.1. It seems that since May 2022, WaniKani has started including over-leveled subjects in the queue again (subjects that were assigned to you, and were later moved to a higher level than you).
Now when this happens, KanjiSchool will show you a notice about the change, and you will start seeing them in review queues again:

Following on from b4c8027, there appears to be a slight mismatch between lesson+review counts. Not sure if a subject is being completely miscounted. It could just be a counting issue, the subjects might still be eligible for the queue.
WaniKani often changes level requirements for subjects, so that could be related too.
