This allows people to disable certain channels in certain worlds or only allow certain channels in worlds or no worlds or all worlds.
example from discord:
so e.g. there was a channel called 'skywars'
it would have an option
worlds: ["name1", "name2", "all"]
where empty is no worlds basically means no one can access this chat unless they have a bypass perm
and all means all worlds
and just a name means that world
