why can't I delete my own posts and comments already?

you can delete your own comment. you will be able to delete your post in the future

Deleting comments is already possible, are you having issues with it? Closing this as it is a duplicate of your previous issue. https://github.com/LemmurOrg/lemmur/issues/260
