Hi Lemon, this is more like a question, not an issue.

Do you know any way to use/load xml files if my addon is listed on the /addon folder? I know you're using a /patch approach, so it's completely different. But maybe you know both ways :)

The only way is to modify an existing game package by adding your data and have a hook to load your lua file. I don't recommended it because you're modifying game files.
