This denial is only visible only after a fresh installation of LineageOS, hence the reason why I missed it the first time.

Submitted the pull request to cm14 now, but it is applicable to lineage-15.1 as well.

Do keep in mind that you linked to the native timekeep binary sepolicy, not to the com.sony.timekeep Java app. The sepolicy for the Java app is here: https://github.com/sonyxperiadev/device-sony-sepolicy/blob/c8f947b83fb8ca9f9991c4d63eb16519684eb24a/system_app.te#L10-L13
