When mining for example

Simply install the mod and kill mobs or mine some blocks, don't need to have any sound muffled

This is actually a Forge bug, I don't know why you only experience it with ESM, but unfortunately I don't think I can do anything about it.

ho thanks for the explanation, but the weird thing is that only happens with forge, btw I have a friend who has Fabric and he doesn't have this bug. Anyways thanks again
