Cannot get all students after find command #5

Open Leofeng10 opened 2 years ago

After I used find command, I cannot list all students using list all because list all command here only list the students with matched name. There is no other command I can use to list all students. Screen Shot 2021-11-12 at 4.56.51 PM.png

Team's Response

Thanks for the issue. In fact, there is a command to list all students after executing a find command, and that is the list command. In addition, not only it is stated in the UG under the "Listing all students: list" section, also the error message hints to use the list command instead of the list all command after find. We also expect users to be familiar with the command after a few trials.

Team chose [response.Rejected]

Reason for disagreement: After read the explanation, I think this is still a feature flaw bug. Because sometimes I can use list all to get all the students displayed, sometimes I cannot use this command(e.g. after using find command). Although an error message is shown to tell users to use list command to get all the students displayed, it would still be quite confused for users that list all cannot be used at this moment after it is just used. Also, list and list all actually have exact the same functionality which is listing all students. Why two different commands should be used for the same functionality when the application is under different conditions. I agree with you to change the severity from medium to low after read you explanation.
