Error when opening kicad file #1

Hi,

I'm trying to open this on easyEda. I made a zip file with the kicad file, but I get this error: "Unexpected error while converting. Perhaps unsupported file type or program bug." Am I doing something wrong? I made the zip file myself, but eayEda says "Please, compress schematic and PCB as a zip file by KiCad5 and then import it..." What do they mean with "a zip file by KiCad5"? Does KiCad5 have the ability to make zip files and they are different than a regular zip file? In any event, I don't have the ability to compress as a zip file from KiCad5 as I don't have this program. Any help? Thanks!

Hi, This footprint was designed for kicad eda. I don't know why it wouldn't work on easyEda. However, i know that there is already a footprint in the easyEda user contributed library. I hope this helps!
