Bluefish install aborts abruptly on WinXP 32 bit when installation of GTK+ is skipped or download fails with "content length error" #16

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install the latest version of Bluefish on Windows XP.SP3: Bluefish-
win32-051208.exe
2. Try to install GTK+. Error shown is:
--------------------------------------------------------
Downloading GTKplus Runtime  2.10...
Download Failed: Server did not specify content length.
--------------------------------------------------------)
3. The installation of bluefish aborts here.

4. Also, if we skip the installation of GTK+ then the installation aborts.
While it should go ahead and complete the installation successfully.
(Installation already done since the installer was unable to download the
setup file from server)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
>> Installation of Bluefish should go ahead and complete since GTK+
runtimes and complete package is already installed. Also PATH is pointed to
the bin/ (correct) folder.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
>> Bluefish-win32-051208.exe on Windows XP SP3

Please provide any additional information below.
Is there a workaround here?

Please read =>

(Installation already done since the installer was unable to download the
setup file from server)

as =>

(Installation of GTK+ was performed independently and before the start of
Bluefish
installation. Reason being: The installer was unable to download the
installation
setup file(s) from server)
