freezes on creating gui

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. launch bluefish-debug
2. splash screen with feedback pops up while launching
3. freezes on "creating main gui..."

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

you rock! and since I'm a Windows noob (generally use linux and osx) I've
attached the bluefish-debug output as a screen cap! Could be a problem with
my GTK install but am pretty sure it's good - works with other apps.

I just installed and ran your new version 030708a. It runs great! I`ll play 
with it
more later and post here if any issues arise. Since this ver. runs well do you 
still
want the text dump.
