Lagging in Firefox #31

If you visit one of those demos:
* http://glimr.rubyforge.org/cake/hello_world.html
* http://glimr.rubyforge.org/cake/canvas.html

It lags new newer versions of firefox, i dunno know if it is because of
Firefox or CakeJS but i have reported it to the firefox team as vell.

Atleast between firefox 3.0.3 and 3.1b2 it's laggish and slow.
in Aora it don't lag at all but the transformations are all wrong (version 0.4)

Is this on Linux with Nvidia drivers? Like this

I might have forgotten what os i was using, sorry :P.

Anyways it's seems that you have hit the right spot. the answer of comment no 
#10
helped me alot, but still some of my windows-using-friends is reporting that 
some
samples i'we sent to them was pretty laggish, it might be some similar nvidia 
problem
but on windows.

Anyways, for those who are using a _real_ operating system with the properitary
nVidia drivers type this into the terminal/console:

 nvidia-settings -a InitialPixmapPlacement=2
