Cardspace / Open ID / Live ID Support [Feature Request] #104

A very useful feature would be support for one or more of the above
identity systems.

Other projects are starting to implement this (DNN springs to mind so far)
and it would be good to have one login and password that worked across all
of these sites (say you deployed more than one DNK site or a combination of
DNK and DNN sites).

I don't know about this.. actually I don't know any websites integrating with
any of
them - except for MS ones which use LiveID.

I know a lot of people were put off by Passport because of the cost but the new
terms and conditions for LiveID let you use it for free for a certain number of
users (reasonably high as far as I know) so it does open up that option for
smaller
sites.

Open ID/Cardspace would be good for site owners who either already have a
site/portal and don't wish their users to require yet another username and
password.

I guess it can be marked as low priority as it isn't essential but it is
definately
a nice to have as it allows people to tie in DNK to their existing web sites.

I thought we were going to look into the OpenId for registering web sites to a
user.
