What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Browse dotnetkicks.com using IE8
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
DotNetKicks info line ("DNK is an open source project...") is seen overtop 
of the page header until clicking Compatibility View in IE8.

What version of the product are you using?

this has be fixed in SVN r657. awaiting QA
