I'm aware of the fact. MySQL fulltext search simply doesn't scale when you have
millions of rows. Some searches on /a/ were hogging MySQL for over 2 minutes, 
that is
unacceptable.

Currently importing the /a/ database into PostgreSQL. ETA is probably something 
over
12 hours because importing data from a dump that uses insert statements is slow 
as hell.
